Healthy Aging and Structural Integration

Over the past century, the average lifespan has increased quite a lot. Having more years, however, does not necessarily mean having more health during that time. There are a number of things we can do to improve our chances for a healthy and vibrant life.

Staying active is an important part of staying healthy. For people in middle age, the actions that you undertake now will lay the groundwork for your later years. Taking good care of your body by exercising, eating well, staying connected to others, and receiving bodywork will improve your chances of staying active as the years pass.

I recommend Structural Integration as a part of your wellness plan in both middle age and later years. Structural Integration can help you move more easily, maintain a good sense of balance, and improve – or even prevent! – those nagging injuries that slow us down. elders bike

One client had a particularly remarkable change in his posture and gait. When I first met him, he looked like a stereotypical old man – seeming far older than his actual age. He leaned forward and had a shuffling gait because of back problems. Through the 10-session series of SI and some additional spot work, he now walks easily and fully upright. His back pain is substantially improved. He is able to participate in the activities that he wants to do.

Structural Integration is an investment in your health! You can experience the benefits now and into the future. Why not try a session and see for yourself?
